Low squats, high standards!

Challenge: bust out some squats today. These can be done no matter where you are, what fitness level you're at.

Body weight squats do ALL.THE.THINGS!

  1. Improve core strength

  2. Crushes calories

  3. Improves athletic ability

  4. Reduces risk of injury

  5. Strengthens core and lower body

  6. Increases motivation

Fact: Squats work all of the glute muscles in one movement. When you strategically recruit and tax these muscles, you can trigger hypertrophy (or muscle size growth). So, yes, squats can help you build bigger glutes.

I'm going to try 10 at a time at random points of my day and see how many I can crank out.

Challenge: Share here if you're down to do this with me!

Day 4 checkin! I was SORE and DID NOT feel like getting this in today, I even laid down and thought about taking a nap but then I remembered that nothing amazing comes easy. This workout felt great! I feel like a new person after doing it. 💪🏽💪🏽 how are you going to shut those voices up today?
