Day 5 : fit fads

If you're here and you pushed through everyday this week 🙌🏼 I am SO PROUD OF YOU! You've probably googled at least one healthy thing, maybe a recipe, workout, new water jug, or a new trendy thing that promises to help you achieve your goals faster.

Can I tell you something? The only thing that will make your body change (for the better) is CONSISTENCY in healthy habits.

  • Moving your body with intention for at least 30 mins a day

  • Eating colorful and nutritious food

  • Practicing self control in your portion sizes

  • Drinking enough water

  • Consuming enough protein

  • Sleeping 6-8 hours a night

 

What doesn't work?

  • Waist trainers

  • Diet pills

  • Starvation diets

  • Too much cardio

  • Unhealthy/unrealistic expectations

  • Comparison to anyone else


These 👆🏼 are not sustainable and are very taxing on your precious body/mind.


*I am not a health professional, just a 40 yr old mom who's been at this for long enough to have tried and failed all of those ways many, many times.
